We are a team of Cambodian and international based professionals with a wealth of experience across the construction, architectural building design, legal, business, banking/private wealth, philanthropy and NGO sectors.  This and our connection with the Cambodian Ministries and the Royale Family of Cambodia place our project ahead of many with respect to feasibility and credibility.

Marisa Oum-Berquin, a Cambodian of note, is a building design professional. Passionate about humanitarian and community work, Marisa specialises in sustainable, passive & low-energy housing in her work as a partner at iDesign2Build Pty Ltd. She founded Build-Up Construction Skills Cambodia with a vision of creating sustainable & quality professional education and employment opportunities for the Cambodian people. This and her relationship with the Royal Family of Cambodia place this project ahead of many with respect to feasibility and credibility. IT Engineer (France), Diploma of Business & Marketing (France) Diploma of Building Design (Tafe College, Queensland) Cambodian native. French & New Zealander citizens. Fluent in English and French, conversational Mandarin.

Brook Kitson

Business Manager and Regional Development Manager at Cardno. Civil & Structural Engineering Bachelor.
Brook is a civil engineer and manages Cardno Sunshine Coast with its 28-local staff. Cardno is a professional infrastructure and environmental services company with 6500 staff around the world, HQ based in Brisbane. Brook is an experienced Project Director of numerous complex community construction developments. His passion is the Sunshine Coast regional economic development and has served for 12 years on the Urban Development Institute of Australia Committee, 3 years as Vice-President and chair of the economic development subcommittee. He continues to focus on expanding his network and furthering the above objectives through his reappointment to the board for Regional Development Australia Inc. Australian citizen.

Jason Hague

Owner & Director of Locality Planning & Consulting Pty Ltd, a town-planning & development projects consulting services in Queensland (Australia).
Jason is an experienced property developer and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in town planning and urban design. With experience managing and co-ordinating a range of consultants and advisors in different fields including legal, architects, surveyors, designers, engineers and more, Jason leads all actions in liaison with Construction Industry in Australia. Australian citizen.

Glenn Ferguson

Glenn Ferguson is Managing Director of Ferguson Cannon Lawyers. He is a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Queensland. As experienced lawyer, he has acted in complex disputes and transactions for a range of clients both nationally and internationally. He is a Founding Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand College of Notaries. He is a Governor of the College of Law, member of the Federal Attorney Generals International Legal Services Advisory Council and the Immigration Ministers Advisory Board in relation to the regulation of migration agents.  

Alpa Patel

Alpa is a lawyer practicing in the Business and Corporate Law team. She attends to all matters of a business and commercial nature. Her focus is on corporate structuring, restructuring, asset protection, corporate governance, business transactions, retail and commercial leases, trademarks, partnerships as well as mergers and acquisitions. Alpa is highly experienced after having successfully operated businesses in both Australia and New Zealand. Alpa completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Bio Medical Science at Victoria University of Wellington and is member of the New Zealand Law Society. Alpa has admission in both New Zealand and the Supreme Court of Queensland. She is also a proud member of the Queensland Law Society. Prior to joining Ferguson Cannon Lawyers, she worked at a private law firm in Wellington, advising on matters related to commercial property, trust and estates. Alpa has in-house litigation experience from working in the public sector.

Darasethy Oum

Darasethy, a Cambodian of note, is an accomplished business management and development expert. Darasethy is the General Manager of Federation of Rice in charge of development & export of rice from Cambodia. He oversees the treasury for both Cambodia and Australia Boards of Directors for complete transparency. Darasethy completed a Bachelor of Economics at Queens College, City University of New York (USA). Cambodian native & Irish citizen. Fluent in French and English, conversational in Chinese mandarin & Thai.

Songthoul Fernandez

Owner & Director of Kennary Tours, a eco-tourism agency in Cambodia, and Founder-Chair of Samaki Non-for-Profit association that has provided over 100 low-cost affordable houses to disadvantaged Cambodians, funded by the Kennary Tours.
Songthoul is an accomplished entrepreneur in eco-humanitarian tourism and is the founder of Samaki Non-for-Profit organisation in providing affordable housing to the disadvantaged Cambodians. He puts his skills and experience to great use as Build-Up Cambodia’s construction industry. Songthoul is our NGO-Partners liaison and General Secretary at Cambodian board of directors. Cambodian native & French citizen. Fluent in French, conversational English.
